Sherar%20%20Kuoshu.jpgI'm so proud of all these kids *sniff* *sniff*  They're like itty bitty baby birds finally leaving the nest...flying off on their own into the great blue yonder with nothing but the wind beneath their wings to lift them up to the loftiest mountain peaks where they know no boundaries, NO limit to the heights of their potential...only where their wildest imagination and hard work takes them....*barfHa, ha...who am I kidding!  Lemme get down to the nitty gritty!  I want to wish congratulations to my younger kung fu brothers, sisters and cousins who have a special place in my heart in continuing to compete in tournaments all over the country during the hot, grueling summer months and showing we still KICK MAJOR KUNG FU ASS!  Especially my Si Di , Sherar, who just won the United States Kuo Shu Federation's 2007 Male Competitor of the Year!!!!!  I'm so beyond proud...he joins a very special and elite group of kung fu-ers at my school who have won earned this honor, myself included, ages and ages ago, back in 2003 as the Female version of this award.  I'm so happy for you, Sherar!  All your hard work and talent has finally been recognized, but we in Boston always knew you epitomized that hard to attain quality of traditional kung fu tenets with ever-present grace, good sportsmanship and humility.  Good job in continuing the tradition...
